Project scope
The project road forms a section of the Northern corridor. Feasibility study and detailed design (in 2 phases) for the rehabilitation and strengthening of 73 km of Uganda's main traffic artery.
The services provided included pavement deflection measurements using the FWD, materials investigations, detailed design, traffic and axle load surveys, pavement strength evaluation and design recommendations.
The feasibility study was later updated by a detailed design including preparation of tender documentation and tender evaluation.
The assignment also included the preparation of an Environmental Management Plan.
