CSR

Proud to support communities in Buliisa as part of our work on the Tilenga Project.
Together, we’re building not just infrastructure, but healthier futures.

On 28th April, Gauff Consultants Uganda Ltd conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity at Buliisa Primary School in Buliisa Town. This initiative, undertaken as part of our role as a contractor supporting TotalEnergies on the Tilenga Project, reaffirmed our commitment to community well-being and sustainable impact.
During the visit, our team donated three handwashing cans to the school, directly supporting improved hygiene practices among learners. The event brought together key stakeholders, including the Mayor of Buliisa, the Town Clerk, District Health Officers, representatives from TotalEnergies, the school administration, and approximately 80 pupils, most of them Primary 7 candidates.
Access to proper handwashing facilities is a simple yet powerful tool in disease prevention. By equipping the school with these handwashing cans, we are enabling students to regularly wash their hands, reducing the spread of infections and promoting a healthier learning environment.

This initiative is especially vital in safeguarding children against common hygiene-related illnesses, ensuring they stay healthy, present in school, and ready to learn.

The appreciation expressed by the school and local leaders highlighted the importance of such interventions in the community. At Gauff Consultants, we believe that small, practical actions can create lasting change.
We are proud to contribute to a healthier future for the learners of Buliisa Primary School because every child deserves a safe and supportive environment to thrive.
